      Hi!
Thanks for downloading our plugin. I looked into the issue and it looks like the plugin was packaged a level too deep in the repository. I’ve updated the repository on the wordpress site and everything is working now. You can either re-download the plugin or open up the zip you originally downloaded and pull out the folder called sod_drawer-v1. This is the plugin folder. If you re-zip just that folder and it’s contents, it should install correctly. Otherwise, I just tested the version that’s active in the WordPress repository and it installs perfectly now.

      Thanks for letting us know.

I have installed your plugin but I just need to find where to set the widgets now. You should put settings like that with the other settings to make the plugin easier to use ;)

      Hi!
Thanks for the feedback and installing our plugin. The Sliding Drawer Plugin creates 1-4 widget areas on the fly based on the number you configure in the plugin’s options. The widget areas then appear with the other widget areas in wordpress. Right now, unfortunately that’s just WordPress standard behaviour – you handle widget content from the widget admin panel. You can get there in your backend by going to Appearance->Widgets. After you setup the sliding drawer plugin, you can go to this page and see a collection of new widget areas for the plugin. Just drag and drop any content into the new widget areas to have it display in your drawer. We’d really like to have a drag-and-drop widget area directly on the plugin’s options page, too. If time/demand for the feature exists, we may look into. As always, thanks for downloading and the feedback.

    Hi.

Thanks for making this nice and useful plugin.

If i wan’t to add a 960 width “css wrap” around my widgets so the actual width of your plugin stays at 100%, but the widget area is 960px.

Could you please tell me how to do that?

    Thanks

      Hi Andre!

If you want to download the latest version from wordpress.org (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-sliding-drawer-content-area/) we made a change to the plugin based on your request. There is now a “Drawer Content Width” option in the drawer settings that will let you specify how wide the widget area should be.

After installing the latest version, all you need to do is set that value to 960 (which is the default for it) – if you leave the option blank, it will default to the full width of the page.

      Thanks!

    Hello,

Great plug-in ! Install went smooth, as the configuration.
I may have found a minor glitch, though – it works superb with Chrome. With IE the title shows reversed. Any hint on the reason for this that i could fix ?

You can have a look of the effect at image-inaire.wanderland.be

Cheers, and great job for this one :)

is there a fix for internet explorer for this plugin? It does not display correctly for tab on right side and then only works on certain pages.

    Thanks

  • diva says:

I have downloaded most current version of this plugin. The tab in still turn horizontal with text upside down. Seemed to be ok for a bit and now have same issue again. Please advise, we are launching site in next couple of days. Tab displays incorrectly for your site as well, so this is not issue on my website, it is the plugin itself. Is their a new update?

    Thanks Dan

    Thank you again.
